Maine PERS allocates $125m for two KKR-managed infrastructure funds

The Maine Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) is mulling commitments to two infrastructure funds managed by KKR.

According to a meeting document from Aug. 14, the pension fund is looking to commit up to $25 million to KKR Global Infrastructure Investors V and make a follow-on commitment of up to $100 million to KKR Diversified Core Infrastructure Fund.

Maine PERS previously committed $100 million to KKR Diversified Core Infrastructure Fund in 2022.

The pension fund also invested $75 million in KKR Global Infrastructure Investors in 2010, $150 million in KKR Global Infrastructure Investors II in 2014 and $100 million in KKR Global Infrastructure Investors III in 2018.
