Shemara Wikramanayake, managing director and CEO of Macquarie Group, is set to retire in November, and the board of directors plans to appoint Greg Ward, who now serves as head of banking and financial services, as her successor.
When Wikramanayake retires on Nov. 6, she will step down from the boards of Macquarie Group Ltd. and Macquarie Bank Ltd., and Ward will step into those roles, according to Macquarie Group chair Glenn Stevens.
