Macquarie managing director Adam Nancarrow leaves firm after 14 years

Adam Nancarrow, a specialist in the development, procurement and governance of the real aspects of infrastructure and energy projects, has left Macquarie.

During his 14-year stint at Macquarie, Nancarrow was integral to Macquarie's transitions from adviser to investor, to buyer of assets, to developer of assets, to building of development businesses, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has been involved in nearly all asset classes in Europe, North, South America, Asia and Australia. Nancarrow served as managing director at the firm since 2008, during which time he racked up a number of successful acquisitions and developments through his focus on infrastructure, renewables and utilities.

Nancarrow was specifically responsible for Macquarie and Green Investment Group’s activities in relation to development, construction and operations, and served as a member of the principal investment committee that reviews and approves all global Infrastructure and energy projects
