Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, an infrastructure asset manager, has launched its next infrastructure fund, Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund VI, according to a filing with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.
Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund VI will invest in diversified infrastructure assets in Europe. A fundraising target was not disclosed in the filing.
Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund V, the fund’s predecessor, held a €4 billion ($4.6 billion) final close in 2016.
MIRA manages more than 50 funds with approximately $A155 billion ($119 billion) of assets under management.
