Macquarie Asset Management provides €125m debt financing to Eurofiber

Macquarie Asset Management, on behalf of its institutional clients and managed funds, has provided €125 million ($146 million) in senior term loan financing to Eurofiber, a provider of open digital infrastructure.

Serving hyperscalers and wholesale and enterprise customers, Eurofiber operates a 77,500-kilometer (48,156-mile) fiber network spanning the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Germany alongside eight data centers in the Netherlands.

The financing forms part of a €2.2 billion ($2.6 billion) refinancing aimed at establishing a long-term funding platform to support Eurofiber’s continued expansion and growing demand for high-capacity connectivity across Northern Europe. The financing will enable additional flexibility for Eurofiber to continue investing in its fiber and cloud infrastructure, supporting innovation and future growth across its core markets.
