Macquarie Asset Management has plans to acquire a significant minority stake in Best in Parking, a developer, owner and operator of parking and mobility infrastructure, headquartered in Vienna. The majority stake in Best in Parking will be retained by Breiteneder Immobilien Parking, which is owned by the Breiteneder family and its private foundations.
Best in Parking operates 87,000 parking spaces across 198 prime locations in 40 cities and offers technology, traffic management, parking access control and smart city solutions. The company also invests in the development of its digital solutions alongside the roll out of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Best in Parking is active across Austria, Italy, Croatia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia and other markets in the Balkan region.
