Engineering services firm M² Subsea has won a multi-million dollar contract with TransCanada for work on its 500-mile natural gas pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico.
Once completed, the $2.1billion pipeline will deliver gas to the Mexican state of Veracruz.
The firm will also work closely with Mexican-based Frontera Resources, utilizing the multi-purpose support vessel Tehuana.
This is M² Subsea’s second project with Frontera in the Mexican sector.
The company’s Houston office will be responsible for delivering the workscope with support from the U.K. team and local partners in Mexico.
