by Kali Persall

LS Power Equity Advisors, through one of its private funds, has agreed to sell two natural gas-fired combined cycle facilities in the United States to an investment vehicle managed by Argo Infrastructure Partners.

Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

The assets include the 516-megawatt Carville Energy Center in St. Gabriel, La., and the 1,127-megawatt Oneta facility in Coweta, Okla.

The seller acquired the projects from Calpine Corp. in 2014, along with four other assets, according to LS Power.

The sale is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in fourth quarter 2019.
