LS Power Equity Partners V, an infrastructure fund managed by LS Power Group, recently captured $275 million of commitments from three U.S. pension funds.
Two months after opening to investors, LS Power Equity Partners V has locked in commitments of $200 million from the Oregon Investment Council, $50 million from the Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana and a $25 million re-up from the San Mateo County (Calif.) Employees Retirement Association.
The closed-end fund targets infrastructure assets in North America focused on the sectors of power generation and transmission. The fundraising target is $2.5 billion, according to IREI’s database.
