Louisiana Teachers slates $100m for infrastructure funds managed by Blackstone and I Squared

The Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana (TRSL) has committed $100 million to infrastructure funds, including vehicles managed by Blackstone and I Squared Capital.

Blackstone Energy Transition Partners V received $50 million for its closed-end, opportunistic strategy that invests in energy companies building enterprises to support cleaner, reliable and affordable energy. A fundraising target has not been disclosed. The Teacher Retirement System of Texas committed $200 million to this fund in June. Blackstone Energy Transition Partners IV, its predecessor, closed with $5.6 billion in total capital in 2025.
