Louisiana Teachers' Retirement System has backed two infrastructure funds, according to an Oct. 1 board meeting document.
The pension fund committed $50 million each to IPI Partners II, a technology-related fund co-sponsored by ICONIQ Capital and an affiliate of Iron Point Partners; and the ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III, a private infrastructure fund managed by I Squared Capital.
Similar to the first fund in the series, IPI Partners II invests in data centers and other technology- and connectivity-related real assets, according to the website of IPI Partners, an SEC-registered investment adviser that manages the funds. An equity fundraising target could not be immediately learned.
The other fund, ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III, will take a sector-agnostic approach to portfolio construction, targeting assets that fit within the firm’s risk model. The fund is targeting $12 billion.
