Los Angeles Department of Water and Power invests $100m in JPMorgan Infrastructure Investments Fund

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) Employees Retirement Plan has committed $100 million to JPMorgan Infrastructure Investments Fund.

This fund, is an open-ended strategy managed by J.P. Morgan Asset Management, which invests in infrastructure assets including utility projects, airports, communication networks, shipping ports and toll roads in North America, Western Europe and Australia. According to PitchBook, the fund size is currently at $52.5 billion.

The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund and Kansas Public Employees Retirement System both committed to this fund in recent months.

LADWP had $21.7 billion in assets under management as of May 31.
