The project will include upgrades to two existing terminals and the Tom Bradley International Terminal. Infrastructure will be delivered to connect the hubs. Once completed, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 will feature 27-gate complexes with a connection to international terminals.
Construction is expected to begin in the fall of this year.
Delta is also planning to invest roughly $12 billion in other airport infrastructure projects in the next few years, including upgrades to facilities at several of its regional hubs such as Atlanta, New York, Seattle and Salt Lake City, according to REBusniess Online.
