Larry Kohn has been appointed senior vice president, senior strategist – private alternatives at Fiera Capital.
Based in Fiera Capital’s New York office, Kohn will be involved in many aspects of the firm’s private alternatives strategies, with a particular focus on infrastructure.
Kohn joins Fiera with four decades of institutional asset management experience, advising some of the largest funds in the world on investments and allocation strategies, the firm said in an email.
Kohn previously spent more than 10 years as a senior investment officer at AT&T’s predecessor pension fund, SBC. He later joined Goldman Sachs in the investment banking division before becoming a founding member of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Following his stint at Goldman Sachs, Kohn became a partner at Lazard, a managing director at JP Morgan, and a founding partner at Argo Infrastructure Partners. Most recently, Kohn served as a senior advisor for UBS’ private alt
