The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (L.A. Metro) has received an unsolicited proposal from Aerial Rapid Transit Technologies to build a gondola transit between Union Station and Dodger Stadium, home of MLB's Los Angeles Dodgers.
The gondola would be a five-minute ride and be operational by 2022, according to the Los Angeles Times.
All proposals are subject to a Phase One analysis within 60 days of being received. Metro can then choose to advance proposals with merit to a more detailed Phase Two review.
