Korea Investment Corp. (KIC), a sovereign wealth fund established by the government of South Korea, is set to promote Lee Hoon, head of strategy and innovation, to CIO.
Hoon will oversee the management of the sovereign wealth fund through investments in traditional and alternative assets.
Lee, who joined KIC in 2017, will be the second internal promotion at the fund. He has led the strategy and innovation division since August 2021.
