KKR to inject further $400m into Pinnacle Towers in the Philippines

As part of its investment in Pinnacle Towers, which is the largest independent telecom tower operator in the Philippines, KKR is expecting to continue investing approximately $400 million in the platform and will develop and acquire roughly 2,000 towers to support digital connectivity across the Philippines.

This was announced on March 12 by the U.S. Department of Commerce at the culmination of a trip to the Philippines led by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo. Raimondo was joined by a delegation of senior executives from 22 prominent U.S. businesses and nonprofit organizations. The group embarked on a first-of-its-kind presidential trade and investment mission to help advance U.S. and Philippines economic ties and internationally recognized labor rights.
