KKR to recruit 12 to manage new Asia infrastructure strategy

by Kali Persall

Global asset management firm KKR is looking to add 12 people to its team to support a new APAC-focused infrastructure strategy.

The firm will target core assets in developing countries, as well as core-plus deals in developed markets.

KKR could not be reached to comment on the new investment strategy.

The firm’s strategy is to seek infrastructure investments with limited downside risk. “We seek to drive value creation through distinctive sourcing, deep operational engagement, and active stakeholder management,” according to KKR. “We believe this strategy leads to value-added returns for our investors.”
