KGAL has entered into a joint venture with project developer and general contractor PFALZSOLAR for the development and construction of two solar parks in Greece.
The Volos project (81 megawatts peak) is located in central Greece, and the Evros project (95 megawatts peak) is located in the north. PFALZSOLAR will be responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the plants, alongside local onsite partners.
Both plants are part of the Article 9 impact fund KGAL ESPF 5, marking the sixth investment for the vehicle since its launch at the end of 2021. KGAL is now represented in 12 European countries with its sustainable infrastructure asset class.
