Keppel Infrastructure Fund Management (KIFM), trustee-manager of Keppel Infrastructure Trust, has appointed Adrian Chan Pengee as an independent director on the board of KIFM and a member of its ESG committee, effective Oct. 1.
Chan now leads the corporate department at law firm Lee & Lee, where he serves as a senior partner. He also serves on the legal service commission, a body formed under the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, as the nominee of the prime minister of Singapore. He also is the vice chairman of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
He co-chairs the corporate governance and regulations interest group of the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, and is also a council member of the Law Society of Singapore.
In other news, Thio Shen Yi will step down from the board of KIFM on Oct. 31 and will cease to be the chairman of the nominating and remuneration committee (NRC) and a member of the board ESG committee.
