John Bruen has been appointed to lead Infracapital, M&G’s infrastructure private equity investment arm, effective Sept. 1. He will report to Emmanuel Deblanc, CIO, private markets at M&G Investments.
Bruen, who has more than 25 years of international infrastructure investment experience, joins from H.I.G. Capital, where as managing director and partner he helped establish the firm’s infrastructure platform and raise its inaugural $1.3 billion value-add infrastructure fund. He also previously held senior roles at Macquarie Asset Management and Ferrovial Airports.
