Vision Ridge Partners has brought on Jeff Bishop, a clean energy entrepreneur and investor, as an operating partner. Bishop will work closely with the Vision Ridge investment team to drive value creation at the firm’s portfolio companies and support deal origination.
He brings more than 20 years of experience across clean power and finance to Vision Ridge. Most recently, Bishop was the co-founder and CEO of Key Capture Energy, a battery energy storage independent power producer that scaled into a utility-scale market leader with the strategic partnership of Vision Ridge, with 624 megawatts of operating and under-construction projects at his exit.
Previously, Bishop held roles at Brookfield Renewable and EDP Renewables and served on the boards of Advanced Energy Economy and the Energy Storage Association.
