Jaladhi Shukla has been promoted to senior investment officer at the Dallas Employees’ Retirement Fund, a defined benefit plan for the city of Dallas’s nonuniformed, permanent employees.
Shukla started as an investment analyst in 2019 and was promoted to investment officer in January 2023, according to her LinkedIn page. Prior to that, she was a senior associate at TPG and was a hedge fund consultant at Northern Trust before that.
According to an asset allocation update from April 2023, the most recent report found at the time of writing, Dallas Employees’ global listed infrastructure portfolio had a market value of approximately $150 million and occupied 4.22 percent of the total fund, against a target allocation of 5 percent.
Real estate had a market value of $347 million in the defined benefit plan’s portfolio. The actual allocation was 9.79 percent against a target of 7.50 percent.
