IPI Partners is planning to acquire DigiPlex, a Nordic data center developer and operator.
DigiPlex operates eight data centers across campuses in the key Nordic markets of Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen, with a combined footprint of 21,000 square meters (226,042 square feet) of built whitespace, in addition to more than 400,000 square meters (4.3 million square feet) of land currently available for customer expansion. DigiPlex’s facilities are powered by 100 percent sustainable sources.
IPI is expected to gain a significant leadership position in Northern Europe, following the transaction. DigiPlex is IPI’s second acquisition in Europe, following the purchase of SUPERNAP Italia in February.
