InstarAGF agrees to acquire fiber optic network provider in Oregon

by Kali Persall

InstarAGF Asset Management has agreed to buy all of the shares in LS Networks, a fiber-optic bandwidth infrastructure services provider based in Portland, Ore., from a collective of Oregon rural electric cooperatives.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

LS Networks provides services to large and small commercial and individual customers in rural and urban communities, according to InstarAGF. The company’s network includes more than 7,000 route miles of fiber and serves national and international carriers, ISPs, data centers, schools, governments, healthcare organizations and businesses.

The transaction is expected to close in early 2021.
