InfraVia-backed Irish hospital group announces €520m refinancing

Mater Private Network (MPN), an Irish private hospital group backed by InfraVia, has completed a €520 million ($603 million) long-term senior secured refinancing to support its growth and investment program.

The new seven-year debt structure, provided by a pool of high-profile commercial banks and funds managed by institutional infrastructure debt investors BNP Paribas Asset Management and Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, refinances a previous financing package raised in 2022 and provides an additional capital expenditure (capex) facility to support MPN’s continued investment in healthcare infrastructure and innovation, patient services, and digital transformation.

MPN operates through a national network of 11 locations. The company has become recognized for its expertise in highly specialized areas including heart and vascular, cancer, spine, and orthopedics.
