InfraRed Capital Partners has appointed Michael Straka to the newly created position of head of capital, based in London.
Straka joins from DWS Group, where he has led the global-infrastructure-sales and investor- relations team for the last 10 years, and was responsible for raising, structuring and procuring fund and co-investment capital. Before that, he held other senior positions, including head of business development for DWS Investments.
Straka will be responsible for InfraRed’s current investor base and ongoing fundraising efforts for new investment vehicles, leading the teams in investor relations and capital raising, and building a network of partnerships with both existing and new investors across the InfraRed-investment suite.
