InfraRed Capital Partners has acquired a portfolio of nine U.K. school public-private partnership projects from International Public Partnerships (INPP), a London-based infrastructure investor. The transaction was undertaken for a separately managed account (SMA) with pension services provider APG, on behalf of pension fund ABP, as sole limited partner.
The portfolio comprises operational education sites across London, serving thousands of students through modern secondary, special educational needs and further education facilities, delivered as part of the Building Schools for the Future program. The assets provide essential social infrastructure under long-term, availability-based concession agreements. Through its specialist asset management capabilities, InfraRed will seek to enhance operational performance and preserve asset quality across the life of each concession through to handback.
The acquisition increases the SMA’s exposure to high-quality, mid-market U.
