The Southmead Hospital in Bristol, England, is on the receiving end of a £500 million ($670 million) refinancing, according to InfraRed Capital Partners.
With 800 beds, Southmead Hospital is one of the largest acute hospitals in southwest England and is widely recognized as a flagship healthcare facility for its design and operational excellence.
InfraRed’s asset management team, together with Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, Foresight Group and other stakeholders, undertook an extensive capital works program spanning multiple years that enhanced the facility, strengthened its resilience and supported its long-term operational performance. The refinancing of THC (Southmead) Ltd. is the outcome of this work and demonstrates what can be achieved through strong alignment between public and private sector stakeholders, according to InfraRed.
