The Infrastructure Corporation of Nigeria (InfraCorp), an infrastructure development vehicle managed by an independent infrastructure fund manager, has partnered with the African Green Infrastructure Investment Bank (AfGIIB) and Solarge International BV to establish a groundbreaking solar photovoltaic manufacturing plant in Nigeria.
The solar manufacturing plant will produce lightweight panels with an ultra-low carbon footprint. InfraCorp said the partnership marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s journey toward sustainable and resilient energy.
The memorandum of understanding was signed at COP28, which is currently taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
“This initiative resonates deeply with InfraCorp’s commitment to sustainable development and economic growth, underpinning our dedication to climate-resilient infrastructure for a cleaner, greener and industrially vibrant Nigeria,” said the firm.
