Indiana Public Retirement System slates $15m for Macquarie co-investment

The Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS) has invested $15 million in Macquarie Coastal Co-Investment, a real assets investment opportunity made alongside Macquarie Infrastructure Partners VI.

Macquarie Infrastructure Partners VI is a core-plus infrastructure fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management. The fund is located in Sydney and invests in North America, according to PitchBook. Macquarie Infrastructure Partners VI is targeting the transportation, waste management, digital, utilities and energy, and social infrastructure sectors.

As of Aug. 31, 2023, according to the most recent SEC filing, the fund had raised more than $4.1 billion toward its target of $8 billion. The previous fund in the series, Macquarie Infrastructure Partners V, closed at $6.9 billion in July 2021.
