The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) has committed up to $25 million to Partners Group Direct Infrastructure Fund IV, according to a statement by the public pension fund.
Partners Group Direct Infrastructure Fund IV is a closed-end fund aiming to raise $8 billion. The fund invests in core-plus and value-added sectors including renewables, economic infrastructure and transport in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
IMRF and Partners Group have an existing relationship, with $275 million in aggregate commitments. The New Mexico State Investment Council recently committed $350 million to the Partners Group Direct Infrastructure Fund IV.
As of Sept. 30, IMRF had $60.2 billion in total assets under management.
