Igneo Infrastructure Partners to divest interest in Adelaide Airport to shareholder group

Igneo Infrastructure Partners has received notices from a group of shareholders exercising their preemptive rights over its 15.26 percent shareholding in Adelaide Airport Ltd., the owner and operator of Australia’s Adelaide Airport and Parafield Airport.

Igneo has been a founding investor in Adelaide Airport since it was privatized in 1998. Business News Australia reports the firm is selling its stake in a deal valued at approximately A$600 million ($395 million). The transaction was initiated following a strategic review of Igneo’s portfolio, which involved assessing each asset’s ability to meet its clients’ investment objectives.

Adelaide Airport is Australia’s fifth-largest domestic and international airport by passenger volume. Igneo notes Adelaide Airport served more than 8.7 million passengers in 2025 and occupies a land size of 800 hectares (1,977 acres).
