IFM wins infrastructure mandates from U.K. pensions

IFM Investors has been awarded two investment mandates totaling $364 million from two U.K. local government pension funds.

IFM Investors was awarded a $300 million mandate from the £3.58 billion ($5.6 billion) Avon Pension Fund and a $64 million mandate from the £2.2 billion ($3.4 billion) Dorset County Pension Funds. According to various media outlets, the mandates are the pension plans’ first investments in infrastructure.

The mandates will be invested in IFM Investors’ portfolio of core equity infrastructure assets in global developed markets.
