ICG appoints managing director of European infrastructure team

Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) has appointed Frank Heiss as a managing director in its Frankfurt-based European infrastructure team.

Heiss joins the firm from Swiss Life Infrastructure Investments in Zurich, where he was responsible for direct infrastructure investments on the private equity infrastructure team. He served for four years In this role in the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Nordics and Eastern European regions.

Prior to that, Heiss worked for four years as a director at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, where he was tasked with the execution and asset management of European infrastructure investments.

Heiss also held positions in M&A advisory at Merrill Lynch and Lazard in London and Frankfurt.

In his new role, Heiss will be responsible for originating mid-market core-plus infrastructure deals across the DACH and Nordic regions, sourcing, analyzing and executing transactions for the European infrastructure investment strategy.
