I Squared Capital, an independent global infrastructure investment manager, has announced that Jonathan Popper will be joining the firm as fund partner and head of asset management and value creation for the Americas.
Popper joins from Temasek, Singapore’s state-owned investment company, where he was a managing director since 2013. He most recently served as managing director (portfolio development), with responsibility for engagement with Temasek portfolio companies on matters of value creation, including strategy, operations, finance and capital structure, M&A, organizational development, and compensation. Previously, he served as managing director (investment), with responsibility for Temasek’s investments in the business services sector and as managing director (structuring and execution), with responsibility for advising Temasek investment teams on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, financings and other transactions.
