I Squared Capital has expanded OpenInfra, its private wealth platform, into Australia.
The ISQ OpenInfra AUT Fund is an Australian-dollar vehicle that extends the platform’s reach to Australian wealth managers and financial advisers, giving eligible local investors access to institutional-quality private infrastructure investment opportunities.
I Squared said the expansion builds on its longstanding commitment to Australia and the broader Asia Pacific region. In 2022, the firm opened its inaugural Sydney office and has since committed more than $1.5 billion of capital to the region, supporting the buildout of four platform businesses across energy infrastructure, environmental infrastructure, renewables, and transport and logistics.
