I Squared Capital has appointed co-founder and managing partner Gautam Bhandari to CIO.
Bhandari has been a member of the investment committees of I Squared Capital since inception. He also chairs the boards of several I Squared Capital portfolio companies globally. Before I Squared Capital, he was a managing director at Morgan Stanley, where he worked on infrastructure investments, as well as banking and capital markets for more than 10 years.
Bhandari will be responsible for leading the firm’s global investment strategy in close collaboration with Sadek Wahba, the company’s founder, chairman and managing partner.
