I Squared Capital has entered Indonesia’s logistics market with the addition of five operational logistics and cold storage assets across Greater Jakarta and Surabaya. The firm is achieving this through the acquisition of Cella, an industrial logistics and cold storage platform it is buying from NWP Property, one of Indonesia’s largest real estate platforms, and CRE, Inc., a Japan-based logistics facility specialist.
Founded in 2022, Cella focuses on developing and operating well-located, institutional-quality logistics infrastructure across Indonesia. It provides end-to-end industrial and cold storage solutions to a diversified base of blue-chip customers across ecommerce, third-party logistics, retail and consumer goods sectors.
