Kurt Pierloot has been named CEO of CubeCold, a pan-European cold storage and logistics platform and a portfolio company of I Squared Capital.
Pierloot, an experienced logistics executive with more than 25 years of international leadership experience, will lead CubeCold’s next phase of growth across Europe.
Most recently, Pierloot served as CEO of Bleckmann, where he led a period of significant growth, international expansion and operational transformation. As CEO of Cube Cold, Pierloot will focus on strengthening the company’s position as a leading European cold chain logistics platform.
Since its formation in 2021, CubeCold has grown rapidly to become one of the largest cold-storage players in Europe, with operations in Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom. The group operates more than 30 facilities with more than 650,000 pallet positions, supporting customers across critical food and pharmaceutical supply chains.
