HOOPP appoints Chantale Pelletier as senior managing director and head of global infrastructure

Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) has appointed Chantale Pelletier as senior managing director and head of global infrastructure. In this role, she will oversee the fund’s global infrastructure investment program.

With more than 25 years of experience, Pelletier previously served as global head of infrastructure at Fidelity International, president and CEO of Schroders Capital Management (France) and held senior infrastructure leadership roles at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ). Pelletier holds a bachelor’s of business administration in finance from HEC.

HOOPP infrastructure targets projects in essential facilities and services, including highways, windmills, water, and communications technology and data. HOOPP currently oversees C$123 billion ($88.6 billion) in net assets. As of December 2024, the fund manages C$7.6 billion ($5.5 billion) in infrastructure allocations, marking approximately 6 percent of the fund.
