Harry Moore to become CEO of First Sentier Group following Mark Steinberg’s departure

First Sentier Group, a global asset management organization, has appointed Harry Moore as CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2026. He will replace current CEO Mark Steinberg, who is planning to step down at the end of 2025 after seven years with the firm.

Steinberg, based in Sydney, has led First Sentier Group since September 2017. After a comprehensive search and selection process, Moore was appointed by the board to step into the role.

“While Mark will remain CEO of First Sentier Group until the end of the year, I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the board, to extend our thanks to him for his strong leadership and dedication to the business over the past seven years,” said Takafumi Ihara, director, deputy president and executive officer chief executive, asset management and investor services business unit at Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corp.
