Alabama-based Harbert Management Corp. has brought its Harbert Infrastructure Fund VI (HIF VI) to final close, securing $905 million in fund and related co-investment commitments.
The fund was backed by a diverse and highly regarded group of domestic and international institutional investors, including pension plans, insurance companies, foundations and asset managers.
HIF VI’s portfolio is composed of North American power and renewable-energy opportunities. The vehicle is focused on investments that can provide investors with attractive risk-adjusted returns, reliable current income, opportunity for capital gains and inflation protection.
