Harbert Infrastructure, part of Harbert Management Corp., has hired Michael Leonczyk as a managing director, investments, based in Charlotte, N.C., where he will lead the opening and expansion of a new office location.
Leonczyk joins Harbert Infrastructure from Harrison Street, where he served as director and head of public-private partnership (P3) and social infrastructure. At Harrison Street, Leonczyk, alongside senior management, was responsible for the launch of the firm's open-ended infrastructure fund and led the firm's P3 and social infrastructure investment efforts.
Before Harrison Street, Leonczyk served as CIO at a U.S.-focused P3 development and investment firm.
