H5 Data Centers expands footprint in New Mexico

by Kali Persall

H5 Data Centers, a national colocation and wholesale data center provider, has expanded its edge data center in Albuquerque, N.M., more than doubling its data center footprint in the region.

The 225,000-square-foot center is located at 505 Marquette Ave. and will serve as the top point of interconnection in Albuquerque, and it has limited exposure to disaster risks.

“Cloud service providers and content companies increasingly require low-latency access to networks and digital partners,” said Josh Simms, founder and CEO of H5 Data Centers. “Due to its geographic location, Albuquerque is well positioned for continued IT infrastructure services growth.”

H5 Data Centers has more than 2 million square feet of data center space under management. The company designs and engineers flexible and scalable data center solutions to address the core infrastructure and edge requirements of its customers.
