Gresham House acquires SUSI Partners, creating a $3.6b energy-transition platform

by Kali Arevalo

Swiss energy-transition infrastructure investment manager SUSI Partners is now part of specialist asset manager Gresham House. The acquisition creates a £2.7 billion ($3.6 billion) energy-transition infrastructure platform, which ranks among Europe’s 10 largest in this segment.

SUSI Partners will combine its international mid-market equity and credit expertise across energy-transition sectors with Gresham House’s U.K. leadership in battery energy storage. The combined platform offers a broadened suite of equity, credit, co-investment and bespoke mandate solutions, enabling investors to access a wider range of opportunities across the global energy transition. The deal brings the firms’ combined assets under management to £10.7 billion (€14.4 billion).

In 2026, the platform is launching a new global energy storage strategy, a new private credit infrastructure strategy and an expansion of its Southeast Asia-focused energy-transition strategy.
