GreenGo teams up with Gruppo Altea and Industrie D’Amico to develop four PV plants in Italy

GreenGo, an Italian renewable-energy plant developer and independent power producer (IPP), has launched an industrial partnership with Gruppo Altea and Industrie D’Amico Srl to build four new utility-scale photovoltaic plants located across Sicily and the Marche region.

The projects, currently under construction, will have a total peak capacity of 19 megawatts. The Pianaccio site, located in the Marche region, is managed by Industrie D’Amico, a key player in building photovoltaic parks, substations and biomass energy plants since the first two Conto Energia programs. The other three plants — Dirillo, Poggiarelli and Soparita — are managed by Gruppo Altea, a rapidly growing Sicilian company active in the energy transition, electric mobility and digitalization sectors. In particular, the Soparita plant has been developed as an agrivoltaic project and co-financed through funds via Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
