Green Impact Partners (GIP), a company that acquires, develops and builds RNG and clean bioenergy projects, has sold a 50 percent interest in GreenGas Colorado to Amber Infrastructure for $60 million.
Located in Weld County, Colo., GreenGas Colorado will convert organic waste (dairy manure) into RNG through an anaerobic digestion and gasification process. The RNG will be connected directly into existing gas pipeline infrastructure.
In other news, GIP is selling a 50 percent equity interest in Future Energy Park and Iowa RNG to Amber Infrastructure for $485 million. GIP said it continues to progress all final development permits and is working collaboratively with government agencies for the projects.
After final permits and closing project debt, which is expected in the next few months, GIP will receive about $340 million in 2023 to build Future Energy Park and Iowa RNG. Both projects are slated to begin construction in 2023. The remaining $145 million of sale p
