India-based GMR Power and Urban Infra has taken ownership of GMR Green Energy Private Ltd., an entity that was incorporated this year in order to pursue opportunities in the green energy space, according to The Economic Times.
GMR Green Energy has yet to commence commercial operations.
The 50,000 equity shares of GMR Green Energy were acquired from a fellow subsidiary, GMR Solar Energy, for INR 10 ($0.13 ) each.
