George Bilicic has rejoined Lazard, a financial advisory and asset management firm. He will serve as a vice chairman of investment banking and as the global head of power, energy and infrastructure.
Bilicic rejoins Lazard from Sempra Energy, where he most recently served as president and chief legal officer.
“George has a long history at Lazard as one of our most thoughtful and prolific bankers,” said Peter Orszag, CEO of financial advisory at Lazard. “We are glad to welcome him back to lead our power, energy and infrastructure practice, and work in other areas as a senior banker, supporting our clients with his unparalleled industry knowledge and unique perspective.”
Prior to joining Sempra in the fall of 2019, Bilicic served as a vice chairman of investment banking and as global head of power, energy and infrastructure at Lazard, and headed the firm’s Midwest investment banking business. He originally joined Lazard as a managing director in 2002.
